Residents of all ages are invited to get creative at a free art workshop at Chatham Library with artist Karen Scudder.
The sessions will run on Saturday, 15 April and Saturday, 22 April from 10am to 2pm and there will be a celebration of the work created on Saturday, 29 April.
Trying something new, or re-discovering an old hobby, is one of the simple steps everyone can take to improve their mood, known as the Five Ways to Wellbeing.
Come down and try your hand at drawing or painting and explore the benefits getting creative can have.
There’s no need to book for the sessions, but children must be accompanied by an adult.
If you can’t make it to the workshops you can still pop in to the library’s wellbeing corner, where you can illustrate and send your own postcard or enter a colouring competition to win a pair of tickets to this year’s pantomime, Aladdin, at The Central Theatre.
