Vox Anima London invites you to an evening of choral delight as a massed choir performs CREATION by Dan Forrest at Rochester Cathedral on Saturday, 13 June 2026. Conducted by Vox Anima London Founder and Artistic Director James Meaders, the concert brings to life stunning texts and music celebrating the wonders and beauties of the world.
First conducted by James Meaders in Ely Cathedral in 2025, he is thrilled to be working again with the same soloists – Nikki Eoute and James Newby. This year, the performance takes place in the magnificent Rochester Cathedral, providing a breathtaking setting for this extraordinary work.
You can watch a short clip of the 2025 concert here.
The composer, Dan Forrest (who will be attending the concert), writes:
“…I wanted to capture the beauty of life on this planet, and the wonder of its origin, in my own musical language. In a sense, it’s a score to my own mental Planet Earth film – of beauty that I’ve encountered both at home and in my travels abroad. I hope this work overwhelms its listener with the wonder and joy that still shines through in our world.”
Prepare to have your senses amazed as 150 singers join a 40-piece orchestra – this is music you NEED to hear!
Tickets are available from £15 and can be booked here.
